I agree with the class on the "chic" one on the last page. I sort of see an abstract dog nose in the middle of the word dog! Drop the "the" for this version. I think most of these fall too far forward into the "cute zone". On the top right, the scottie who is sitting, at least he speaks to obedience. Could he be more geometric - less illustrative? we are looking for a good, clean quickly recognizable iconic shape, if you are going to show a dog.
