Bre, what about the entire word becoming a bike, like this, but not as cheesy: www.helenabicycleclub.org (the logo).Or, I like #1, but for a letter mark, maybe just the c and the tire w/spokes, or something...gold star for being the first one to post :) Beat me to it.
Bottom left corner, has lots of potential. I think you need to think about a simple bike "icon" and designing a typeface that works well with your bike icon style. What is that treatment on the z?
So this is what I've been working on. I am playing with using the i's and have also been playing with the idea of isotypes.
